    Hi to all,:D

I've been around for some days now and this is my first post/topic.

I have a quick question, in your opinion, what's the best programming language to use to interact with webpages? Like an auto commenter... And where can I start?

    Thanks to all of you...

If you want to create a software that can browse webpages, scrap content, click links, fill up form and submit them etc... I'd say the best language is php with curl extention.
Go to php.net and google "curl" to find more about this. (btw if you don't know anything about php, you won't get started overnight) ;)

PHP is the most interactive programming language and very popular in the e-marketing / blackhat world. Look at some of the famous scripts...

    @ crsk8andsno56 definitely PHP!

If you want to create a software for windows with an interface, then you might want to program in c++ with the .net framework.
Once again, if you don't know about this language, buying a software or even hiring a freelance programmer will be far cheaper than making it yourself, considering the time and effort you will have to put in this ;)

By definition, PHP isn't a programming language, it's a scripting language. If you want to build actual software, look into Java and C++

    Ok,

So, I want to learn php and the way I'm going to go about it is by reading a couple of those mash-up books that work with rss-feeds and how they interact with amazon, flickr, last.fm, delicious etc with php and xml, xslt and stuff like that.

But my question is, if I want to learn a javascript language just for sh!ts and giggles, which one is good.

I have read about scriptalicious, prototype, mochikit, dojo, and jquery. I am currently reading jquery in action (still on chapter 1), but was wondering if any of you have any input.

I'm looking to study the newest technologies, and want to develop cute little apps that work with the rss feeds from anyone who has a cool api. I feel that it's the only way i'm going to keep visitors coming back.

Help my ass. cuz im clueless.
