Best language for a auto purchasing bot

Hey guys I'm looking to hire a coder to develop an bot for me. Bot would follow url and update every 5 seconds and notify of a new listing and also do a purchase. What language is best used to create this bot ? Anyone recommend any good coder here?? Ij would gladly hire a coder

Python could do this pretty easily. Depending on how much load the script has to take, you could use selenium for the client.
