Best kw research tool

I've extensively tested all these tools:

LTP: is OK... the difficulty rating is VERY hit and miss, most certainly not reliable.
UNF: great for getting lots of keywords quickly.. DO NOT use the difficulty tool, its a load of crap.
MS: Still probably the best way to manually decide if a keyword is easy. It also uses Majestic API data for keywords on mass. I still like the tool
TT: Nope, not good at all.
Keyword Revealer: used to be good before it went paid, but was very slow to get difficulty results. Plus the difficulty metric is weak (average of top 10 PA)

Other difficulty metrics people should avoid:

intitle, inurl and exact match results.. This has a very weak correlation on difficulty



Overall, I would say MS is still the best way to decide if a keyword is easy. can take a lot of time, but you get lots of good data from the top 10 results.

Spyfu and keywordspy each provide some good info. Google keyword planner is also good but , and long tail keyword suggestions also can give you some good suggestions.

Since basically all kw tools have lots of inaccuracies, I like to check out the same kws in many different tools. If you average out the results offered by lots of tools, I feel that it gives a much more complete image of a keyword than any single tool can provide.
 
There aremany, but for a start, you are better off doing it manually using keyword planner in combination with market samurai or longtail pro.

none of the above. you can use scrapebox to harvest a bunch of urls in the niche youre trying to rank for. more times than not those permalinks will already contain the long tail keywords you were never thinking of in the first place. from there you can use notepad++ to regex everything out of the url except the longtail keywords. you will have a nice list of longtails by then but you could also run those keywords through scrapebox keyword checker for even more keyword suggestions.

I started out using Google Keyword Tool and it's really all you need. It's important to take note of every single keyword that's relevant to your topic/main keyword. Sure there are tools that streamline the process and make it a lot easier but there's no need to spend any money on them when the Google tool works perfectly.
 
Till now i am using Google Keyword Planner & get some ideas from the competitors website.
let me try some other like spyfu.com, keywordrevealer.com.
