What keyword tool do you guys rate the best?

I thought that SEMRush was supposed to be better than ahrefs but I found ahrefs to actually find more keywords.

Look forward to hearing your opinions.

  • Ahrefs
The smartest option is to combine all the collected keywords into one spredsheet and then sort them by popularity

MY budget isn't big enough for them all.

It must cost a small fortune for all of these.
 
Zero budget keyword research tools:
  • Answer the Public
  • Google Chrome with KeywordsEverywhere, MozBar, Majestic and SEOQuake plugins
Method:
  1. put your topics into Answer the Public, copy/paste a bunch of relevant questions
  2. paste questions into Chrome (set country as needed)
  3. look for SERP with low authority results (low DA, low number of backlinks to the page, irrelevant results, poor quality content)
  4. use Google's keyword suggestions on the SERP for more ideas
  5. repeat, repeat, repeat
Takes time but is more accurate than any third party tool.

Keyword sugestiontool pointing at a website? This is news to me man!
 
I personally prefer SEMrush for finding out gold nuggets my competitors are ranking for.

I'm referring to the "People also ask" and "Searches related to" boxes on the SERP.

KeywordsEverywhere also generates a bunch of related terms for each search.

All the keywords you need are right there. You just need to get good at spotting low quality results.
 
Because I didn't use it too much - I prefer Google Keyword Planner - it is free
 
Best keyword tool I've found is called Authority Snooper - I can rank about 90% of keywords it suggests fairly easily.
 
I use SEMRush and i love it! maybe i should look into ahrefs too. Used to love Google Keyword Planner but that thing has changed a lot not and become a bore to work with

adwords 《《《 monthly traffic and cpc only

as you can see , dont trust them indevigal i like a full spectrum of the best.

buzzfeed and google trends let me no if the keyword is a active popular niche, and if it seasons or not.

seasons cheeking the month by month graph of the popularty of the keyword via google trends.

i like keywords that are used all year round .

The rest i use for domain and backlinks

I'd go with semrush and ahrefs, great combo to get any kind of work done

Is it worth paying for SEMrush or Ahrefs? IF so, does the cheapest $97 plan the job well or is it necessary to use more expensive ones? Would appreciate the answer :)
 
Google keyword planner is not for seo. It's for advertisers. If you have a budget, go with Ahrefs or KWfinder. If not, prefer keysearch. It's cheap.

I use combination of keysearch, ubersuggest and kwfinder (free version)
