If you are only interested in searches per month, then Google's keyword planner is the best - most other tools get their search volume data from them.
But to use it, you will need an active adwords campaign.
Semrush or keyword revealer are good options as well.

The best place to start your search for keywords is the Google Keyword Planner.
Also, I would recommend you to check KWFinder, SEMrush, Longtail PRO, Buzzsumo, or Ubersuggest.

There will be differences in what's reported by various tools.
These differences do not really matter much.
What you would want to answer before you target a keyword ...
Can you make money from the keyword?
How hard it is to rank in the top 3
Is the keyword getting searches every month
What will be your profits every month if you manage to rank for this keyword
If tool A says the keyword gets 1000 searches a month and tool B says the keyword gets 1300 searches a month, I would conclude the keyword is getting at least some searches every month.
The exact volumes really do not matter - even Google may not have the exact numbers.

More free options are available nowadays it will be a good sign, If you go with paid tools you will get more analytics report compared to free version.so, in my suggestion you can try with KW finder, SemRush.

Well, that's true, many of the tools simply pull data from your Adwords account. And in case you have ranges for example you will see ranges there as well. If it is not Adwords data they are having their own metrics and formula to calculate and get approximate results. So might happen you will have variations. Agreed with Shree, no need to search for super accurate results. Just draw conclusion using data from different sources and common sense)

Just go with Semrush, keyword revealer or kwfinder.
If you want to check their difficulty also, then use keywordrevealer and kwfinder tools.

We spent quite a lot of time into the algorithm to provide exact matches since people were complaining about adwords data range, and i think you will find our exact estimates very accurate.

Try using SEMrush and kwfinder.com. Both are good.

which one do you think is most trustworthy and reliable in terms of keyword difficulty estimations?
for the last couple days i was very happy that i found a good niche and started digging keywords. i used keywordrevealer and double checked most of them by keysearch.co. they both approved each other. however when i checked them by using SEMRush, omg the results were so disappointing.
below is an example.
keyword1 = kwrevealer: 11 (Extremely low competition), keysearch.co: 25 (Competition is fairly easy), SEMRUSH 75.34/100
this keyword is not merely an exemption. almost for all my keywords it was like that. semrush's result were higher than 75 or even 80. there is no exlanation for that score but appearently it indicates very tough competition.
which one to take into consider do you think?
is it a "go" based on the former two, or "don't even think about it" based on semrush?
