There are so many keyword research tools out there. I really don't know which ones are good now. Then I started not to use keyword tools.

But lately I found I need to get back keyword research again. I used to use Market Samurai for a little while, but due to virus, I have to wipe out whole computer. Now I want to download it, no lucky so far.

1. Anyone can recommend or comment which keyword tools you think is best for you?

2. Is there an easy tool you can find out how much backlinks that page or domain they have?

I'm not liking any keyword tools these days. All seem a bit iffy.

On checking back links, you can download the free version of Traffic Travis and so an seo analysis of the keyword in question. It will show you.

Traffic Travis free version sucks dude, you must buy the paid version(original) to get the maximum results of it. instead of that i use google keywords tool. :D

Market samurai used to be good but now its too slow. Currently I'm using google keyword tool + traffic travis(free). Traffic travis free version is quite limited but I guess my install has some glitch because I don't see many limitations :D

Well there is a thread in Downloads to get the pro version of Traffic Travis for free, worked for me. But that said, I really like Clyde's Ultimate Niche Finder. Lightning fast, built in domain checker, and the ability to drill down and expand keywords multiple times.

Hi!

I have personally used google keyword tool when i first started, but i switched to market samurai (when it was efficient then) because of the automation and added modules. After the decline of the quality of Market Samurai program, I have been cross checking the data from MS and TT to give me two points in which i can compare results.

Personally, you should not take information from these as "infallible dogma", because they are susceptible to discrepancies and irregularities due to factors such as the limitations and quality of the database they are getting their data from. Keyword research is Very important but it is just a part of the grander scale of things called internet market together with seo, social bookmarking... etc.

anyway there's this relatively new tool called keyword scout, and i think its interesting to be looked at.

Code:
http://keywordscout.com/

Good Luck! :)

Thanks for all response. I am checking keyword scout. Looks good.

By the way, I try to buy it, that can't accept money. Must something glitch over there. Maybe I am too rush and ask me cool down :-)

I too would also like to know about Keyword Elite. I have MS but no longer use it due to the new update it had in giving bing results.

But, it still enough for me!
I just use Traffic Travis free version too! Love much.

use ms, well it have other features that i need like rankings, domain, etc

but i hear good things about keywords scout and ultimate niche finder, have to choose betewewn those two

I second using Google Adword's keyword tool. In my opinion, all kw tools are only estimates and most of them stem from scraping Google, etc. So why not just go straight to the source?

Because they give you a lot more details on the keyword. You don't choose a keyword based on just the searches. You also don't want to manually go through 800 keywords one by one to find the lowest competition, you want that to be done at the click of a button.

I still like the good ol' "Google Keyword tool". It's free, and if you know how to use it right with the csv exports, then it's got almost all the info you need.

If you want an expensive one, go with Market Samurai.

I use market samurai and google keyword tool. They are the best options for me;)

Best keyword research tool in my opinion is :

Keyword Scout
And
Ultimate Niche Finder

I have used both and its hard to say which is is more powerfull ,

because these both have awesome features and function .

BTW i like Keyword Scout mostly and use it .

Paid $25 for SERP Attacks Pro - works fine! It's maintained and support is great.

I love my Ultimate Niche Finder! Great to check keywords with.
