Best Keyword Research Tool?

Hi all,

Recently I've started off on keyword research using adwords keyword tool to show how many monthly searches a keyword etc..

Should I be using EXACT, BROAD or PHRASE match when looking at monthly searches?

The EXACT matches are looking very low for monthly searches, even when I try a really common keyword such as, 'online casino'

Obviously I'm trying to find long tail keywords here but it's making it very hard when even the root keywords have below 20,000 searches locally..

It pretty much means every other keyword has <10 monthly searches..

Use exact match and make sure you select the country you're targeting.

Choose EXACT all the time, 1-3k+ are the typical local search number for long tails.

On that note, you shouldn't only look at the search number though, you need to look at the Commercial Intent, Rankability (SEO Competition) and if an EMD is available for that keyword.

Look exact search and divide it to 10. this will give the real search number.
