What keyword research tool do you guys use? I use ranktracker which is pretty good, yet I'm not sure if it is showing broad searches or exact searches...is there anything better?

Market Samurai is supposed to be pretty good, but I've read it's also pretty unreliable.

market samurai is for sure the best tool for keyword research, and yes at times it can be unreliable so all you need to do is use google adwords keyword tool along for verifying your keywords. There have been a hype about traffic travis alot these days as their v4 is out though I am not much of a fan of traffic travis, it being more of a manual tool and I suppose we could better use adwords tool rather than traffic travis

I just use google's adwords keyword tool, gave MS the flick, just got sick of how unstable it is!

So basically there are three keyword tools that seem to dominate the SEO market: trafic travis, market samurai and rank tracker...

I always use G Adwords Tool... it's Google.. It's... Google.

i use the google keyword tool and ranktracker got tired of experimenting with all the hype

For the peoples who said MS is the best tool , does any one of you got a keyword getting almost 10k searches , but when he make it to the first page he never get more than 100 UV ? i have had this lot of times (even using the others keywords tools)

For keyword research, I have been using Google Adwords Tool from a long days ago. I have got good result by using Google Adwords Tool research. I can prefer it to you.

Another vote for good ol' Market Samurai.
I have also been using Traffic Travis 4 for a few days, (was only $37 to upgrade) at the moment it's a piece of shit. I don't know how they released it in it's current form, it's no where near complete...

Did you target the local searches or global searches? For global searches you must optimize it well for all the search engines like google.com, google.ca, google.co.uk, google.co.in, google.de, etc.

Did you check the trends? Are they falling down or rising up?

Did you check the exact keyword searches for every month or just the broad searches?
