Best keyword research tool?

Serposcope, you mean? Yeah I use this, too, for rank tracking.
For keyword research I really like answerthepublic, it always gives me great ideas for longer phrases and articles.

+1 I can also recommend serprobot if you're looking for a really cheap option with daily updates (or even multiple times per day)
 
Ahrefs and SEMRush are the most popular keyword research tools.
 
Depends on your budget but Ahrefs and SEMrush are great Keysearch is from a seller on here and that's ideal too.

I usually use Ahrefs for getting useful insights about keywords, but also for analyzing competitors and their activities since here you can see from where they are generating their links. Also, Ubersuggest is pretty fine, as well as SEMRush, although it's not accurate all the time. They are all paid tools but have some trial periods.
