Someone sent me this link asking if this was a scam. I'll be honest, for about 3 seconds, I wasn't sure. This is the best, most fleshed out scam/IM/clickbank website I've ever seen.

*This is not my site and by no means am I recommending or promoting this product. I'm just really impressed with how well it was done.

I'm really thinking about copying and stealing the whole thing. Speak up if this is yours.

The 'click like to share' thing could use some work. Just a tip if you were to rip the site.

I've seen that site before, it's conversions are probably low.

The first couple times I saw it, I did not even know what it was about.

It needs a stronger call to action.

im with bobbylove, when i looked, it really confused me. it might be pretty good for clickjacking though?

I know a few people that use these types of sites and they do tend to convert pretty decent. The "no strong call to action" is intentional. The site is meant to come across as an informational/news site...it draws someone into actually reading the content and becoming more engaged in the message rather than a big "Make 10k a month here...only 10 left..hurry hurry etc etc" messages most people are already used to.

I'm not saying it's a magic lander, and certainly won't fool "smart" people, but it does do well in various niches and for a certain demographic.

Its impressive and that news anchor is fing hot.
I almost bought something ;)

Very good IM site. The content can display my location too.

I think that these type of sites have been doing pretty good for a few years, usually by PPI providers. I am not sure why, but they have not been widespread through other means. News themes also work for autoblogs, but have been on the dying trend and most hosters look for them for removal. Still quit ppopular as popups though like I said. How did you come across it?

I've done a similar site for a viral campaign (like-jacking) years ago, worked a charm. Just remember, you're not going after the guys with the High IQ's with this campaign, you're looking to take advantage of the lowest common denominator (as bad as that sounds)

I've seen this site before as well. Wasn't even aware it was selling anything. Hm, it's definitely tricky but I don't see how it could possibly convert.

A family member emailed it to me to see if it was real or not. That's what was impressive about it. If someone sent this to my grandmother, she'd probably think it was real and send it out to all of her old lady friends. All of us on this forum are pretty well versed in this kind of stuff but for the average person, this looks like a reputable site. Not only does it pull geographic info and change the story to be from your town but there is even a map and stock app at the bottom

Yeah often saw that kinda website in facebook ads.

good ole' flogs FTW!

Exactly....

Depending on how big this guy gets, it's a great way to get on the FTC's radar by having a site like that. Not to mention having your CPA accounts canned as well. This shit used to work like hot cakes (and still does), until you get caught....

Haha when you click anything else on the menu bar it goes to an ad for free smileys

looks extensively illegit to me imo

space before comma in city name?

wtf...

all kinds of testemonial

totally looks like an affiliate site

Prepare for a CPA banhammer and the FTC coming down on your ass faster than a tonne of bricks.
