best hosting for blogs

I'm starting to get in the IM game. I've done key word research and seo research found some good niches/key words. Now it's time to put that research to good use. I'm going to start with one domain and one blog and develop it since this is my first time and once i start getting traffic and money blogs in topics i like (i've done the kw research though). I'm hoping to get a lot of traffic once i get going (who isn't lol).

My question is whats the best hosting for a beginner that isn't too expensive and will be easy to move to a dedicated server if i reach the point i need one.

I use hostgator myself for a couple of my websites and have no complaints so far. I've found their hosting to be reliable and on the one ticket I have sent the response time was pretty good.

I've never used hostmonster so can't comment on them.

I would also go for HostGator. Fairly priced hosting, awesome support and generally a good, well established company.
