I have been running a reseller account lately but I feel like being affiliate is better for my plans.

Any recommendation on a good hosting provider with high commission and that is actually paying? (I guess it takes EIG out)

You can iPage and Fatcow for the best and reliable working.
If you want cheaper hosts than, you have to try HostMonster. HostMonster is best host at cheap price.

Only the EIG companies will pay you the big bucks.

Use them for affiliate marketing, but not for hosting.
