Hi all, I have bought a bunch of domains that I would like to start developing into sites to monetise, but I am not sure who to go with to host.

I'm going to keep it whitehat for now, but essentially I'd rather seperate each site properly than bodge it together (for SEO purposes as much as anything).

Is my best option to go on a reseller plan with someone like hostgator and create an account for each site?

I am looking at blackhathosting but am unsure as to whether it would fit this need.

I welcome your advice and thank you in advance, it seems no matter how much I look, hardly anyone recommends any hosting!

honestly if you just wanna develop and test your domains ... use some kind of shared hosting , I have two accounts one at bluehost and other one at dreamhost ,..... rarely they have short downtimes , if you don't need more resources they are working just fine . At dreamhost anytime you can upgrade your account to private server and get dedicated cpu& ram ... :) even your own ip ... things which can be nicely used if you plan to grow up the things ..

I think you answered your own question.

There's a problem with shared hosting of multiple sites --- if one of your sites gets slammed for some reason your host will shut down all of your sites.

With a reseller plan, they treat each account as if they were a separate customer, so if one site on one account starts using too much resources (bandwidth, CPU, etc) then they only shut that one account down, not your whole network.

Good Advice from Rick...and definately not host monster. I have had more problems with them than I care to recount.

Host*gator can be a good option if u are planning White*hat mutiple web sites hosting, they have plans for hosting "unlimited" domains on a shared hosting plan.

I quite recomend Lacehost, they're cheap and pretty damn reliable, I use them for a few of my smaller sites at the moment but I'm toying the idea of completely moving to them.

Any recomendation for 4 sites?
Host----gator not work fine for me

i used hostgator before and i moved since they start closing down sites with not letting me now. But yes they have good uptime and they do not close down all your sites but they should let you know.

I would recommend Bluehost. I have used them for about a year, have more than 50 sites on one account, (over 20 autoblogs) and haven't had any problems.

Hello buddy, i have heard about hostgator's reliablity and good service so far, but hey there are always two sides of the story on everything, so you may want to research and read client's testimonials for any assurances that you need in selecting a hosting company that suits your requirements.

If you are going a bit blackhat like autoblogging then avoid 3IX and Vodahost as they both blocked my a/c with them due to CPU spike that can't be help due to the action of the plugins fetching.
