It seems to me nextpointhost.com and panamaserver.com are good for meeting all your needs, the OP. Servers are rock-solid, prices are competitive and uptime is high.

spend some money on your money sites at Media Temple or LiquidWeb and it will pay for itself in the long run.

For just one site with low traffic - simple hosting is enough. But if a lot of traffic, then vps or server. I use for sites VPS http://hostzealot.com, and server for aposter.

OPP.
Go with digitalocean, with 5$ per month,the vps that you will get will BEAT all these so called wordpress only host companies.Trust me,learned this the hard way.

Digitalocean has 1 click install for wordpress so you will have your site in 1 minute ready.
