You forgot some of the them like Yahoo Bing Network, Infolinks, Clicksor, Bidvertiser etc.
 
Media.net is a no no, if you are making $10+ monthly that is okay, but when you are making way over $500+ per month, your account will be closed for 'low quality traffic' even if your source of traffic is 95% google and your visitors from tier 1 countries like USA, etc.
 
The best alternative to Adsense is actually CPA, in terms of ease of conversions and amount of earnings. As noted above, none of the contextual text ads compare in those two factors, whereas a well designed CPA (or PPD) site can duplicate or exceed money made from Adsense.

I totally agree with this. There are much ways in which one can make money with CPA websites. But still, Adsense is still worth a shot.
