Chess is a serious matter, and I love chess. I have seen some fistfights over chess and some get even worse. Somehow this game resonates deeply with many, and it's symbolism and colors are very widely used in occultic groups for a few reasons other than it is a fun game.
When I was younger, once I was challenged, and I could not believe that almost the whole neighborhood showed up for the duel and was very passionate about chess and this was a rough neighborhood. Everyone was yelling, drinking, smoking, packin heat, and I could not believe what was happening that a house party formed around the game, and I was treated like a celebrity for winning! I thought, this is ridiculous it is just a silly game.
I have not played for years, or I would challenge you Sir!
