Best FTP program for Word Press?

hey All,

I was wondering what is the best FTP program for WordPress?

I have Dreamweaver CS4...but i don't know if i can FTP Wordpress?

I have always used FileZilla - I think Dreamweaver has built in ftp support?

The later versions definitely do, not sure about the older version he's running.

That said I just use FileZilla or notepad++'s FTP module if I'm just doing a few minor changes.

how about command prompt ftp?

If not that you can try WinSCP which works for SSH, SCP AND FTP protocols.

Failing that you can use Windows FTP which comes base with the OS.

It is all up to you what you want to utilize. I do not like installing extra bloatware just to get a little visual pleasure while working with files.

I use FileZilla for windows. And cyber duck for Mac and/or windows

Hey Guys...yeah i am using Dreamweaver CS4.

I saw some video's on CS5...which work with WP...but none on CS4.

Anyone know if CS4 works with WP?

If you touch wordpress, you're no longer need dreamweaver.

Filezilla and notepad is your best friend.

I only used live zilla without any problems at all

Yea FileZilla is good ultra edit is good as well - with that you can edit files and when you save it automatically uploads.

I use FireFTP (Mozilla plugin) & Notepad++, auto upload on save

To answer your question, yes, DW supports FTP.

I dont understand the connection between the web interface to the FTP program you are using, very weird question indeed.

Mostly developers used FileZilla. I think filezilla is best.

I am personally using flashfxp which is very good and i am using it for my every site uploading need
