Hi there,

Just trying a new project out here and was wondering in you guys' opinion what the best free website host is out there. I was gonna go with wordpress but they punish you for not going on a paid plan by putting like 10 digits after your url name.

Just wondering what the best free website host/creator you guys think would be ideal to use?

Free web hosting is not recommended as it is not secure. There is no privileges provided in the free web hosting service. You will not have access to all features so go with the aid service. It will be trustworthy service and you will get all access when you will have the paid service.

if you dont have to use wordpress use wix. (Yes i know its wix...but you can block there ads and it is free. What do you expect for free :P

Awardspace is decent free hosting. Although for any serious project won't recommend any free host.
On a small budget you can go with namecheap value plan less than $10 for an year.

Free and best don't come in a sentence mate, try google cloud hosting

Here's an option for free hosting;

https://infinityfree.net/

Again I HAVE NOT tried this service, so can't comment on how good or not.
Probably suitable to test a site on, but don't run/risk a moneysite on it.

I don't recommend free web hosting because they are not secure

Free website ? Seriously ?
Firstly, free website can not be secured for us may be it can be hacked
Secondly , it can be slow with the data
But i advice you : should not create a website by free
I work a company with the trustworthy . It will be trustworthy service and you will get all access when you will have the paid service.

You can use the free tier option in AWS to host your website for free for 1 year. Then, use Cloudflare's free SSL certificate to make your website https for free. This is the most reliable and secure way of hosting a website for free that I know of. Cheers!

All great info and advise guys! Some of you really know your stuff!

I understand a free website option should never be used for a serious project but this isn't a serious project, it's just a quick strategy that may or may not have any future and it isn't really dependent on any paid service to work!

Thanks guys!

Lol.. funny how you say they can block the Wix ad.

Thanks mate, Didn't knew that they had hosting :D

There are lots of free Hosting Provide that provide free Cpanel hosting with unlimited bandwidth and Free SSL certificates for the lifetime. I think ProfreeHosting and GoogieHost are Best.

I was searching Google for cheap domains and hosting when I got an ad for 12 months of free Google cloud hosting+$300 credit, so I signed up.

For static sites or Wordpress, AWS works and when your free trial ends, you can extend it with an EDU email address.

If your site is not critical, the free hosts work good.

go with google cloud or AWS hosting free trial. If you are not that technically sound than take blogger, wordpress, buy a domain and redirect it to wordpress or blogger site and change settings on your site as well . Atleast there hosting is better.

AWS free tier is your best option if you want to scale later on or if you are going to be expecting large amounts of traffic. Also the most secure.

Wordpress and Blogspot are the best but you need to use their domain root. Also you can use 000webhost... No one free hosting from the market is good enough to evolve your project... it take you down
