Best Free Video Editing Software?

I was using VSDC for years and avoided updating it until recently. After it was updated, many of the core functions were completely changed, so that even someone with years of experience using it can't easily perform simple tasks. Short story - it sucks now.

So what's a free intuitive / easy to use video editor that I can start using instead?

Davinci Resolve is one of the best free video editing software in my opinion. I recommend to check out some tutorials on YouTube.

Davinci Resolve Mac/WIndows, iMovie Mac, ShortCut Mac/Windows, VideoBlend Mac, MovieMator Mac, Lightworks Mac Mac/Windows, OpenShot Mac/Windows, AvidEmux Mac/Windows, etc. All these software are free ! It depends on your level of skill in the field of video editing.

Ditto it can pretty much do anything you would ever need. it is a resource hog though even with 16Gb ram installed

free ones are not worthy. Go with adobe after effect and camtesia

Hey man, I am also currently using a Chromebook, and my personal opinion about this f*cking thing IT FU*KING SUCKS ASS. Sorry just had to get that off my chest, but for video editing, I recently started using https://www.flexclip.com. So far it does everything I need plus more. They have a choice to upgrade but so far I haven't had to. I like cheap but LOVE free! Figured I would share a little bit, hopefully it helps! Take care!!
