If you want to search for good keywords you can use the Adwords Keyword planner by Google.

First you need to do proper keyword research using Google keyword planner or any other trusted keyword research and analytics tools.
After that choose long tail, less competitive and having high search volume keywords first to target.
If you wish to check current rankings you can check Rank Tracker out.

when i started on seo i used Keyword planner (free), and google autocomplete (free) for keywords research, for link building i used alexa 7 days trial (free) and i have exported all of the sitelinking site that i want then worked so hard for 1.5 year, now i use paid tools such ahref and semrush and happy with them.
