Well, researching keywords. Google Keyword Planner is out of question at the moment. So what's the next keyword Research tool that's free?
I need to search some long tail keywords for my upcoming project. Any recommendations?

Think that you should mix them up, compare & decide which one(s) are the best for your needs.
    I use keywordtool.io, SEMrush & a few more. :)

There is nothing as "free" , go for paid ones , I am sure none of the free kw research tools would do the job but fish for new niches , not sure if that makes sense to you

I started using Jaaxy today after years of using a series of slow tools. Loving it. I'll mix it up with Kwfinder and often with Long Tail Pro. Great ones with
free starts, I'll still recommend paid versions.

    A+ second that!

I actually find that typing cleverly into Google itself and hunting through the dropdown suggestions garners some good results.

Keyword planner is important but not enough, so not really out of question. It depends how you use it.
