Best free email subscription plugin

I heard Mail Poet is free, but Im affraid it can be bad after reading some opinions.

What would you recommend? Im new to building email list, but it would be cool if you could group subscriptions, so those who received full email funnel, can receive second funnel

thanks! I thought its one of the best, but the free one is only 2k subscriptions.


I have mailpoet installed but these emails look autistic, I can't describe how ugly is it. mailpoet stores list on your server so you are not dependant

Ehh I guess, but if you have a list bigger than 2k surely you can buy the extended pack?

Or are you scrapping?

Are the emails sent from your server?

I do not have a list yet but I expect at least 50% of blog visitors to register, because I target total begginers that would click my website in Google. I teach them basic stuff and then they enter email to read more advanced stuff.

so I will reach the limit in less than one month assuming I have at least 100 views daily

Not going to dampen the project, but your metrics don't add up. Even if you get 100 views daily, they might be returning visitors.

I've never seen a newbie have 50% conversion rate, mine is like 10%. That would be more realistic, go with Mailchimp because it is free, then consider upgrading to aweber

ATM you need to use our STMP with it and we offer 10k free relays / month.

Oh really? I will use my domain as email when its possible then :) do you offer a plugin for wordpress?
