Hey all, any recommendations? Many recommend Cloudflare but wondering what you all have to say too.

Also, just wondering, if your CDN goes offline how do you deal with it?

MaxCDN. You don't need anything else and don't use CloudFlare.

CloudFlare is good for privacy and DNS only.

I re-read your thread and noticed you want free: You only have one option left CLOUDFLARE.

Thanks for the reply. So why hadn't you mentioned Cloudflare in the first instance? Is it cause it is a slower CDN as compared to MaxCDN?

What are the drawbacks of using Cloudflare? I have read stuff online but wanted to hear your thoughts too. Thanks.

If you are looking for free cdn then cloudflare is the option i recommend, maxcdn is not free i think

I would not use cloudfare, especially SEO wise since it checks for bots if they have WebRTC and most bots don't this will not help with google crawling the site and other crawlers.
https://www.peer5.com/ is a good one if you are using a movie/video heavy site. KeyCDN is the cheapest and best one out there IMO, if you want to go free and only use Images upload the images in imgur or sites along those lines and then use them on your site, this will bump up your requests but it will make your site load faster.

I moved from Cloudflare to BunnyCDN and never looked back, not free but dirt cheap and 7 days free trial, it is faster then the most known cdn´s out there and almost up to par with Google CDN .. Try it, you will not regret it .. Minimum spend per year is only $10 .. =)

Jetpack has changed a lot over the years, it's not like it was a few years ago and I notice no speed issues with my site because of it.

I say that because Jetpack has a free JS and image CDN available. I use it on ALL my sites. It's great.
