Best/Fastest Cdn?

Hiya!

Been looking around the forum and I see stackpath mentioned frequently. But then I see this list here: https://www.cdnperf.com/. And stackpath is pretty low on the list, even lower than cloudflare which people are saying is shit.

So I'm wondering if the list from cdnperf is something to follow, and if yes, is 5centscdn the best? If not, which one would be best? Stackpath?

Any input would be appreciated. Thanks!

I'm using BunnyCDN, and never failed me. It's also quite cheap.
Can't really say anything for the rest, as this is one that got recommended by a few people and we never questioned it.

Cloud flare is the best Cdn.

The choice might depend on the location of your target audience. They are different for US, Asia or Europe.

Wonder also if it's important to pick a CDN with firewall or some security measures. Because i see some cdn that is claimed to be "fast" but doesn't have firewall. Then there's cloudflare with firewall and anti ddos attacks etc.

CloudFlare is good especially if you want to be hidden in the mass. It's also good protection against hacker.

You say "fastest" but in many situations a CDN will slow down your website versus without CDN.. Especially if your visitors are in the same place as your web hosting and if you already have a cache+optimization system/plugin in place.. just saying..

CDN is good for wordwide websites, lowering bandwith costs, protecting from hackers. It's not a magic trick to speed up your website.
