Hi Guys,
I've a referral to a local business (builders merchants) turning over around £2M per annum and they know that they need to up their game re online orders/ sales as they have no capability atm.
I'm probably not going to be building the site, but would appreciate some pointers into the best platform options for this prospect before I speak with them.
Here's what I'm guessing they will want.
- To self manage stock posting.
- Run a newsletter.
- Offer a loyalty programme.
- Link into their current epos platform (think it's NCR).
- Be able to charge a restocking fee for B2B returns (they get lots).
- Run some form of chatbot (I'm not a fan of facebooks for businesses such as this) as they are losing lots of potential business by not being available to answer the phone, email queries etc.
They've a great, supportive local customer base split approximately 50/50 b2c/b2b, but this may change by not being up to speed with ecom.
Any advice will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
PJ
