Good morning/afternoon/evening :)

Quick question if I may: I want to sell a line of clothing through my music Wordpress site. I know there is a ton of E-Commerce plugins out there to choose from, but I would like like to know from you guys which one you think is the best and why. I haven't set up a shop before, so I think ease of use would be my main priority.

Thank you very much in advance,

James :)

Anyone? Cheers :)

Thank you arousso.

I can recommend Woocommerce, it's very easy to setup and use. Also, has lots of additional plugins and themes.

Hi James2,

For wordpress there have already been some great suggestions for you. Here is one more that is free you may want to consider.

http://quirm.net/eshop-2/

You may also want to consider moving your web shop off the word press platform to sites like:

http://oscommerce.com/
http://www.bigcommerce.com/
http://www.magentocommerce.com/
http://www.shopify.com/

There are lots and lots of good choices to pick from. Ultimately a lot of your commerce decision making should come down to factors like how big is your project budget, how fast do you plan to grow/sell, your level of tech expertise whats your sales goal etc.

If simplicity is your goal you can add a product picture and a paypal button to any wordpress website in about 5 minutes so that might be a good place to start.

Highly recommend Woo-commerce, the extensions can be pricey but it will suffice as a stand-alone!

Thanks people, great help :)

At the moment I am only selling t shirts, so the paypal button idea is superb, thanks a lot.
