Best E-comemrce Scripts?

Hi what are the best scripts available for running an e-commerce store? I can modify the scripts myself to customise!

I have already got an e-commerce store on page 1 for its keyword but it is not making any sales - so I basically want to revamp the store to sort out all the payment systems out etc, and I want to spend as little time on this as possible! The current store looks 'ok' but not as good as the competitors so what's the best solution?

+ How do I implement an automatic updating solution? I.e products, stock level etc update automatically from feeds via supplier? my current store does this but I pay yearly for the current setup so am looking to cut out the middle man!

oscommerce,zencart,virtuemart,wordpress ecommerce plugins, some paid carts..

IMO I'ld recommend using Wordpress alongwith WP-e-commerce. There are ample of payment systems available for it already, also you can have new system easily setup with the guide provided for setting up a new payment gateway, you get all the SEO work done with ease and after all SE loves wordpress and you have infinite possibilities what you can do with wordpress in future. And yeah its going to be one of the easiest job to move to wordpress than to any other cart.
 
every ecommerce script maker has a demo.. the best is to try them all and see which one you like the best

Do what he said. WP has way more templates, plugins than any other CMS + it's awesome in SEO. Nothing more to add here.
 
You can try BigCommerce the Interspire hosted solution, they have free 15 days so you can take a look.
 
yeah I like the look of the BigCommerce sites, but I cant see much point in paying them monthly that is what I am trying to avoid with my current setup! Unless there is anyway to get it for free but i assume not since its hosted on their own servers!
 
im running on Cubecart for my dropshipping business. I started from zero knowledge on how to build a website. And now Im proud of my accomplishment.

I would suggest you try cubecart or send me a private message and i will show u my site.

Furthermore, with cubecart, you can get it optimized with seo. Plenty of gateway options. Plenty of modifications around. and the Support is tremendously good!
