You dont see it being mentioned often, because the guy behind the software made a mistake. He preferred his own affiliate program over ClickBank.

I own it and submitease is in no way even close to GSA website submitter.

IBP and ARELIS came together. But I just uninstalled it because it stopped working. I am going to try sliqsubmitter next.
 
do directory links work anymore?
I thought Google managed to put a stop to these a few updates back?

I find directory submissions work, especially at getting sites indexed. My directory list is quite refined and i have cut out all nofollowed sites. I tend not to bother with low ranking directories either. At the start of a campaign i probably add my sites to roughly 100 good directories. After this i concentrate on article syndication which works pretty well.

I certainly agree that Google has changed the weighting on directories but i didn't think they had cut them out completely (i could stand corrected though).

I like to build links using a variety of methods so i am constantly building links without seeming like i am blasting one program. I realise though i am certainly not the most efficient with my time so would like to start using a few good, recommended programs...
 
Yes, directory links still work..always include it with a site launch, and I launch probably 2 sites a week..so yea, it works within my game plan. Sliq is just to damn easy to use and plus it's got a limited internal ocr for captcha solving..it ends up saving me money
 
How good is the ocr with Sliq? I may give it a try on the strength of that alone, if it works with captcha sniper as well than it could prove to be worth investment. GSA is a captcha hog..

I have: xrumer, AMR, SubmitEaze, PowerSubmitter, SliQ, scrapebox, SubmitEaze, coding skills

I use: SubmitEaze, scrapebox and few custom scripts - this is more than enough to rank even on tough niches. I dont submit articles at all instead I create networks of good content around the website.

Of course it all comes down to experience, and what works for me wouldn't necessarily work for you. But if you look for tools Scrapebox and Submiteaze (+ ubot if you don't code).

It has its problems, such as directory importing. It cant always recognize a valid phpld directory. Plus its category learning is not the best out there, it will submit your site to categories you don't wanna be in. Such as gay blogs.

Otherwise its good when used with death by Captcha.

Lancis, in your opinion which directory submitter is best, sliq or submiteaze? Which one is faster and more accurate. Plus i will be using captcha sniper which is compatible with each one.

I like submiteaze more, but you'll need a custom directory list. The one it comes with (or came when I bought) is small.

Sorry for the late reply, it's been one of those weeks! Final question, what's a good program for keyword research. Would you recommend Majestic SEO or Open Site Explorer or are there better tools?
 
Really guys are you still using directory submission?
I did a test two week ago and I posted manual + automatic on many directories.
I received 300+ emails with confirmations that my submission is received and to wait for approval.
Now, I mean two weeks later: 1 submission approved!
Wow! Yes one backlink :mad2:
I mean... I think I'm gonna delete this from my seo memory.
I'll try article directories.

Human edited ones can take months, same as some article sites
