Best CTR Themes/Strategies for WP

I have a few different blogs I am monetizing with adsense using WordPress and two different CTR themes but my ratios are not as high as I want to see them right now. (I'd like to see 1%+)

Was hoping that some members here could share their theme choices and experiences with this type of thing such as the best way to blend the ads into your theme - basically anything to maximize click throughs.

Anything you can share is much appreciated.

I think most important is the coloring of the ads, that they are in exact same style/colors as rest of the page

You already know, the key word is "blend".

Don't use any gimmicks like images or xfactor template. Might make you more money but higher risk of getting banned.

I'm using ClickBump Engine with its Clickwise template, and one 336x280 AdSense text block. This gives me an average CTR of 1.36%.

Thanks for the tips, I decided to switch to Profit Theme and blended my ad to mimic my sidebar widgets. I will sit back and see how this effects my CTR over the course of next month.

Simple CTR theme was proving the best results...

Ads are placed in a way that visitors believe is a part of the "website menu" but they click an ad, btw this is not against Adsense rules .

You can try heatmap pro theme. Search in download section. For blog with more posts, this is my favorite. I have 3.87 % ctr.
