Best Credit Card Processor

    Hi! Me and my team are creating our own Health & Beauty Offers and we would like to know if some people here knows a reputable credit card processing company for subscriptions? This is all blackhat but we are also sending them free trials in return of automatic subscription. All of our products are FDA Approved.

    Also if I may add, we are doing this offsore. Is it possible to host our own Credit Card Processor? If so, what are the best scripts out there? This is definitely high risk. Thank you!

    I'm not sure I can help you with high risk, I'd say it's all maintaining your chargebacks and providing refunds proactively for upset clients and taking the hit rather than damaging your account with chargebacks.

    I would NOT recommend 2checkout, avoid them at all costs. They are far behind the times, their API is practically non-existant, they have problems running cards successfully and are constantly changing policies that damage long lasting relationships. One of my companies has processed millions with 2checkout and I moved off of them and have seen all the problems I had with them disappear entirely. Also keep in mind that 2checkout isn't a traditional merchant account processor and they act as an intermediary at times between you and the client. This has led to "white fraud" where clients know that 2checkout can abuse this power (like PayPal) and has processed unwarranted refunds simply because the client requested it with 2checkout rather than our company directly.

    I now work exclusively with Stripe and likely won't look back. There overall successful billings are higher than with 2checkout and more importantly I'm not running into random refunds for their "fraud" analysis which is utter garbage and not something I ever wanted 2checkout to manage for us. Stripe's API is also top notch and their support is excellent, I've had responses from Stripe at 2 AM on a weekend where as I've had unanswered tickets from 2checkout for weeks in most cases and there's no chance of any type of actionable response during the weekends.

    Feel free to read up on nightmare stories from 2checkout and be sure to checkout their Glassdoor reviews if you are ever considering them. Clearly it's a top down problem and they churn employees and C level executives more than their clients.

    Thanks SuperLinks! I am looking into this. But for now, we're just doign things step by step and definitely work with Stripe for sure. Thank you for your insight!

    Although, I also wanna know if there are self-serv credit card processing platforms/scripts/softwares so all risks would be within us.
