I have traded FX since 2009.
I am very familiar with Forex Peace Army.
Unfortunately, FPA has gotten so big that it now "pays" for sites to buy a bunch of Fiverr reviews.
By the time they go under investigation, hundreds of people have seen the highly rated reviews on FPA.
There was one service called "FX Profit Signal" that was making outrageous claims on their Web site... something like 15% or 20% gains every month.
They had dozens and dozens of 5 star reviews on FPA.
After several months, FPA banned their listing because it was obvious that the reviews were being bought.
The downside to all of this is that legit services get buried because they are being run by actual honest guys who aren't necessarily marketers.
Sometimes fake reviews are easy to spot... other times, I'm not sure. Because of this, I just don't trust FPA anymore.
