Best Content Locker? Vote!

I don't know how Blam Ads the 3rd right now. Adscend media's payouts are way below than Blam Ads'. I haven't tried leadbolt though. If someone needs to get into Blam Ads pm me.

I hate to say it but Leadbolt is by far the worst. They need to set up their offers or just get out of content lock cpa all together

I've been beta testing Meathead1234s content locker.
All I can say at the moment until I submitted my report is
There's a new content locker about to reach the market that
will put the others in the shade.

One campaign I ran with c-p-a-l-e-a-d premium and I made $30. Next day switched to Adscend and I made $220. Next day I tested with blamads and made $32. Day after that I used leadbolt and made $48. Ran a custom content locker and made $350.

Same traffic, same widget design. Adscend deletes your gateways like crazy though. I've always had great conversions with adscend and I don't know why but all the other networks suck ass.

My conclusion, use your own content locker and get ready to bank

I have had the same results but just CPA lead vs Adscend.

I never fully went all out with a custom locker I only used BHCB which can easily be bypassed.

+1 on Meathead's script can't wait till it hits Buy/Sell.

god i hated leadbolt when i used them, their support pissed me off and mike wouldn't return my emails. my earnings more than tripled just by switching to blamads. Although the past few months my epc at blamads got cut in half, and i haven't changed anything really.. i might give adscend media a try again from the reports im seeing here.

so with a custom content locker you can put in any offers you want.. but how does the custom locker know if they have completed the offer or not?

oh and i have tried both adscend and leadbolt and not too impressed with either to be honest.

Content Lock Pro (see sig) uses postback or a timer option. Postback means that the gateway will only unlock once they complete an offer, whereas timer will unlock after X seconds regardless of completion.

Most other custom solutions (such as BHCB) only offer timer, which means that there's potential for people to access your content without you being credited.

Regarding using a custom gateway for NON-incent offers:

Just so you know, custom lockers are great but there is NO WAY to fake the referrer with a 100% Accuracy. Tons of old browsers will leak the referrer sometime. Custom lockers are great if you dont have much traffic but once u get 10k UV/ daily for example, one referrer will leak one time or another and you cannot do anything about it. You can bank for a medium period of time but eventually the big CPA Networks out there will catch up.

On the other hand, Smaller CPA networks might never trace you back.

I have been working with a team of developpers for the last few months and we took a bit of time to work on on bulletproof "Referrer Faking" method. We found a way to do it in pretty much ALL browsers. Unfortuntely, some old broswer will ALWAYS leak.

Also CPA networks have much other methods than checking the referrer to track you.

Overall, for normal incent offers, I agree with you that you should use a custom gateway instead of working with any of the networks stated in this poll.

Yep, correct... this is why we just blank referrer for now. The script checks if the referrer has been blanked, and if not, the click will not go through. We've tested well over 100,000 live clicks on a variety of networks and never had an issue.

I would agree that if you want to do it long term, it's best to stick to incent offers.
