Best contact page I've ever seen

Looked around for a bit and ended up on his website Neilpatel.com. I found it hilarious that in his footer it states that his LLC is named "I'm Kind of a Big Deal"

He's the CEOSam for Dumb Businesses. You guys gotta watch this : http://screencast-o-matic.com/u/nrEF/NeilPatel

How come he sells his website fixing service to other businesses when he can't fix his own site? I titled it as Nailed Patel. Hope it sounds appropriate.

I like the idea. Anyone with a popular website or niche know how it is.
I'm thinking about trying Mad Lib myself to see if the amount of emails decreases.

Patel is part of that new school of SEO luminaries who concentrate on writing authoritative content, like "the definitive guide to ranking anything" this, or "the ultimate SERP checklist" that, and so on. So his contact page ends up looking like a "best practices for weeding out tire kickers" instagram. The actual contact section is buried at the bottom precisely because he knows the average visitor won't scroll down to it, but only the most motivated.

The notion is that by positioning, structuring or branding all his content as definitive, his stuff acquires authority much faster (and this is backed up by some case studies). So it's partly ego, but mainly a strategy of bonding SEO to reputation building online.

I wish he had paid someone to spruce up his website design a bit as well. At least make the text slightly easier to read. Whats with the 1998 design? Some sort of a hipster thing?

Yea that is really cool!!

It's first time I pay attention to Quicksprout contact page, but although seems a great idea, I found it a bit confusing.

Probably better just to give him a phone call aye

Nice contact page, but he sound like he's riding on his own dick.

Really.

Marketing gurus come and go. They hit one homerun and become famous. Then they milk the fame dry selling gold maps that don't work for anyone else.

Shoemoney essentially built a living out of one Adsense check. Just to give one example.
so u are shoemoney is selling gold maps that don't work for anyone else? i don't think so, he's coming to ungag event lol

exactly.. to put it simply, what he's doing is weeding out the retards and acquiring more and more business. Who wants to reply to retards all day? with their retarded newbie questions. Like the type of questions you can just type into google to get the answer to.

I came into this thread with low expectations but was extremely surprised.

That really is the coolest contact page I've ever seen. Pure gold imo. It pre-screens, pre-qualifies, pre-sells, builds immense value... it's awesome.

I'm 100% swiping this and redoing it for my own business.

Thanks OP,

Haha, very nice.

Although my first thought was, 'challenge accepted!'

And it seems I am not the only one.

Which means he now needs to include a new category in his list of 'types of emails I receive':

'Emails from people just trying to see if they can get me to respond to them'

Looks nice but who doesnt have a shed load of emails to get through ?

Hes screening out nothing there anyway. The guy thats going to send him spam aint sitting down to read a wall of text hes too busy pressing send.

So much hate in this thread :)

Be happy for the guy, I don't follow him, but heard a lot of good stuff. He sells marketing and helps businesses, what do you do? Affiliate shit? Good for you! Let me tell you something, big money comes when you play with the big boys and this guy does a great job at it.

He reached a level where he can allow himself to be a bit of a cunt, and to be honest there is absolutely nothing wrong with that; just wants to deal with clientele that will pay for what he is worth.

It looks good but the long message is from start to end too boastful and a door-shutter for most of his in-awe readers who'd like to ask him some advice... he can appoint some assistants and ask them to segregate some emails, important in their opinion, for his eyes instead of disappointing a new fan who is taken back by the harsh words, imho. He could send a standard return email to the ordinary ones and include some well-disguised sales talk... missed opportunity! Too buzy and careless to read a kind word, but not too caring to stop spam:D, huh? 'I Care Less' attitude! Such carelessness can be a setback...

Anyway that's my assessment of a somewhat rude first contact page by a very successful marketer otherwise! Of course, this is just a personal opinion and not a hate message directed towards him. I don't even know his work...

The contact page is attractive but I got the feeling that he thinks maybe a bit too highly of himself too. I understand that he gets tons of emails everyday, but he could have just said that let it end there.

Cheers to his success though, I've heard of him a few times.
I went there And Analyzed BHW :D;) He says there are 11 errors and one Spot left to contact him.........:D
