Hello,

I'm signed up for hostgator now. Got their first month free promo. And now they're asking me so pay $10 for my next month. The problem is, i haven't got that enough money to pay it since i haven't been making enough on IM lately.

Anyway, I would like to ask you guys what you recommend for a cheap webhost. Probably at least $6 a month with good tech support and fast servers. Since i'm from the Philppines, i get timed out a lot on FTP. Also, Unlimited bandwith, space and addon domains is good.

Thank you guys so much. And i hope you could help me :)

Try Indianets.com great service they're not into affiliate marketing their services. They have great support cheap seo hosting, shared you name they have it. They sort out any and every problem you may have with your hosting account. Good luck

Ill try and check it out. thanks a lot

I love ultra web hosting. Cost was something like $140 for 4 years when I signed up last year! Comes to something like $3-4 per month! Hope that helps.

Thank you teeniegenie. Although im looking for a host that i do not need to sign up for a subscription or anything. like 1 year hosting or what. i just need it on a per month basis.

Hi,

Check out either fatcow or ipage

I have used both and as good as the rest. The later has very little bad press compared to the other big players.

Good luck

JB

Ive seen them. Quite promising though. But they want me to pay 1 year upfront.

Unfortunatly, I've noticed most 1.99 webhosting plans require something crazy, like a 5 year bulk order lol. You can try doing some reviews on IM reportcard for some extra cash, then just hope your work pays off so you can afford your hosting :)

I found myself in the same boat as you. Is Blogger an option for you? That's what I decided to use for now.

Nope. I'm hosting my ecommerce website. However, i havent had any sales yet so i really need a good cheap reliable host.

I'm faced with this same problem. I'm looking for a per-month basis. Btw, does hostgator allow paying on a per month basis?

No offences but ipage is not that good - i had to refund in 2 days ,go with hostgators $4.95 plan and they do have monthly pay option.

There are quite afew that you can try like :

arvixe.com
greengeeks.com
gigapros.com

Arvixe is pretty good.

I used arvixe for a year. But then i got really sick because i get timed out a lot on my FTP. SO i changed.

Hostgator has a per month basis however, it's over $10 on their baby plan.

I'm looking in dualrack.com and check it out. Anybody has experience with them?

wait for a major holiday to roll around and you can get one of dreamhost's special deals, 1 year of hosting for $9, no strings attached. :)

Yes, Wait for Black Friday and Cyber monday. All websites roll out the best deals around that time.

There are alot of cheap hosting providers. Just gotta search around for them and do alittle research.

Couple notable mentions:
burstdotnet 6 dollar VPS'
knownhost

webhostingtalk forums has a bunch of cheap ones advertised, just do some research. Also remember that webhosting does have something to do with SERP results, so keep that in mind.

When exactly are:

Black Friday & Cyber Monday? (I'm in UK but heard of lots of good deals before!!).

Cheers

Im checking wrzhost.com now. Anyone from wrzhost here?

Ahhh. Sorry for the misunderstanding. Well, if you are looking for something long term, Ultra is great.
