Recommend me a good SSL provider that is as cheap as possible :)

Https domain is a myth your get higher in the serps .

This info that https for seo was going to get domain heigher in the serps , it was relaised from google long time back ,but didn't take off ,there for it is a myth .

Https is still used to show protected pages for bills and payments ...

Comodo ssl for $9/year...it's perfect

Let's encrypt do the job if you are in sharing hosting. For vps/server, you'll need to install something to make the let's encrypt ssl certification renew automaticaly. But i would recommend to pay 9$ per year.

Depends on the managment panel that ships with the server. odin / Plesk have a on click plugin for that, which is a no brainer. When you're working on console more often the cli client with auto renewel will also be setup in 5 mins.
 
Cloudflare. Flexible SSL is free. They give you an Origin cert to install in your cPanel and you're good to go ;-) Cert is issued by Comodo BTW, so it is recognized by all major browsers.
 
cheapsslshop.com can be a good option. Lowest I could find at USD 4.95 per year.
 
Ssls.com is cheap. But as others have said letsencrypt is free, lots of hosting providers and now including this with their packages as well.
 
I found one of the platforms CheapSSLCouponCode where you can find a valid coupon code and discount from the most trusted CAs and SSL providers. So here you can get cheap SSL providers.
 
Just add the site to cloudflare. Done.

Hope you're doing it for user security / forms, because honestly there's zero SERP reward for SSL. I had sites adopt SSL early on after their announcement and it looks like it was simply more of their SEO mind games. They want SSL out there for some reason.

I think Google is pushing towards SSL as it could kickout some advertising competitiors that don't deliver ads over https.

https is overrated. No ranking boost whatsoever, everyone who says there's a "subtle" boost is probably mistaking normal positive fluctuation with it. It does fuck all tbh... also, letsencrypt is bound to get a ton of spammers thanks to it being free and not having to jack shit to get an SSL. It won't be long until these are completely worthless. The green lock is nice, but its a nice to have... not necessary.

Google should just stick to what they do best and focus on ranking good websites instead of everyone's security. Like some mentioned, probably something to do with large advertisers not being able to serve over encrypted pages.
