Best car under 50k?

Get a 2009 CTS-V Like me:

AMAZING CARS. Sexy, FAST AS HELL. You can get a used one for around 55K. Bimmers are lame, boring, and everyone and their mom has one.

And if not, I second the Audi S5. They are absolutely beautiful and SHAME Mercedes and BMW.

Definitely considering.

I wont say because I'm like that but I will say I didn't really need to buy a car when I did so I haggled a lot and took about two months, I ended up getting an extremely well cared for like-new for 60% of the blue book and it turned out to be in great shape mechanically as well as in the looks department.

Now for price they start at around $45K new but really you want the options, the one I have is fully loaded and some of the extras are WELL worth it. And they do get steep fast (as an example the stero option is $5,600) so a fully loaded car with one of the better engine options is very far beyond that. And, again, getting one that is a 2009-2010 is going to shave off a lot of that price.
Is there a lot of difference between the A6 and the A5, because right now I've been checking out a lot of the A5's, but I dont want to be missing out.

Good choice.
I'd say the same.
I would go with the S5/6 but it just makes more sense to go with the A5/6 especially since the gas mileage is almost cut in half going with the V8 engine. But, will consider.

this is all you need

As far as I know the A5 is the coupe, the A6 is the sedan with big back seats (the A4 is cramped in the back) that's the biggest difference. If you want a coupe I like the S5 a lot, it looks better IMO.

For me personally though I like a full sized luxury sedan as opposed to the more sporty coupe. It still has plenty of balls when I feel like it but also cruises around nicely.

- Audi RS6 Avant 2003 (Indestructible and timeless)
- BMW 135i (Ok, you don't want BM')
- Toyota Prius (A cream to drive !)

Well whatever I decide to get, I would like in a convertible, so the A6 probably wouldn't suit me very well.

Yup,

For a convertible Audi I like the S5 the best, also look at the A5 or TT really comes down to price difference and personal preference there but as far as I'm concerned Audis are great cars, take them over a BMW, Lexus or Infinity for sure and I prefer them to Mercedes but many go the other way there.
