Hi, I'd like your guys opinions on the best bulletproof hosting.
I'm looking for the following:
  • It doesn't care about copyright
  • You can pay in crypto (Monero)
  • Hard to be taken down
  • Has an excellent privacy policy.

bulletproof or dmca ignored? my question is what do you want to host?

I was thought, bulletproof in term of security :D
its a term used widely used in web hosting too, which allow phishing, scamming, fraudulent activities.

Get a raspberry pi -> install LAMP -> If you have a dedicated IP, route all requests to the port 80 and 443 to that pi -> if you don't have a dedicated IP AND/OR your ports are blocked, get a service like packetriot which lets you getting your home machines resolve on the internet for $5/month (the initial byte time is a bit slower, but hey.. it's workable).

By doing this, you no longer need to pay money to a third party. You also do not need to worry about take downs, as you are the owner of your server.

However, you could also expect a visit from law enforcement in near future. Be prepared for that.

Great, but what if your internet goes down? Do you know that datacenters have several backup providers? Same for electricity.

Self-hosting is a big nono

Self-hosting is a big nono
1) What if internet goes down?
Have two connections and use a switch for switching to the backup connection in case primary connection goes down.

2) What if Power goes down/What about electricity?

Raspberry pis are famous for their low power consumption. I have tested a few. All of them range at around 6-8 watts even when playing 4k videos. It's ultra low consumption, and incomparable to a traditional desktop which takes around 80watts minimum.
As a result of this, you could just keep the pi connected to a lithium ion battery with a charging circuit (some of the power banks might work too). In case the power goes down, it automatically switches to battery. When the power is back, it switches to mains; and charges the battery at the same time.

Agreed that self hosting can be a hassle, but it's not what it used to be 4 years back. I have a few projects hosted in a pi, and they all work fine; except for some minimum downtime. They are 1000 times better than a shared hosting, for example.

Novogara
Privatelayer (DMCA only)
PRQ.se (even if you want to pay with Paypal is not available, you will need to pay with Bitcoin!)
2x4.ru
Alexhost.com (For DMCA only)

If you will host something Highly criminal, you can be in trouble.

No illicit activities. I'm just from a country with some heavy restrictions

Do you operate with onion services? Or is it just regular servers?

I don't care about any DDoS attacks. Im just concerned about DMCA and privacy

inferno.name is one of the best : cheap price, they don't care about DMCA, crypto payment....
