You won't learn anything from book. Set something you want to program as a goal, for example a simple mobile game in Unity game engine. Learn basic syntax of a programming language. Then simply, Google things you want to do, like, character movement, shooting, health management, etc.
This way I learned Unity game engine and C# programming. After a six months I was able to get order for an Android Game for a good money. I started with Unity and after a year I am able to program Web Applications with .NET Framework.
So, forget books and focus on some goal you want to achieve

You do not need books. May be you can look udemy or youtube videos for beginning.

Just try to build your project using simple google skills and search "stack overflow" if you face any problems. I'm sure you will not learn programming language by reading books, just start building something.
