definitely a misleading title, first of all you should learn to write a proper title, you should have said you need help with something, the way yo formulated it - it means that you teaching about that.
Anyway, it's a huge forum, if everything could have been summarized in a couple of tips and tricks someone would have done it by now . Just go through all the sections, see what's there, read the rules, read the jounerys and learn from other people, it's a lot of stuff to dig through and you need to take it slow.

Here's one: ALT F4. Works every time if you're committed.

There are many threads with similar questions and answers from users with references to pages to get started with. So, the first thing you should do is avoid short cuts and go via the longer route. Do some digging of such threads and read a lot.

Cmon man its the guys first god dam thread... give him a break.. how many people even jump into SEO these days...

OP start by learning how to do onpage seo first. The purpose of this is to make sure your website is structured in a manner that allows the user to have a pleasant experience and google bots surf and gather info easily to evaluate your website.

*Make sure your site is well optimized .. search up a guide using the search button to learn how to do so. You will be doing a lot of searching here.

If you are not a web developer yourself, either learn it (I recommend it.. use WordPress.. easy to learn & its free.. watch youtube videos on how to use WP) or still understand how On-page SEO works and instruct whoever you are using as a developer to make the changes. Most web developers are familiar with Onpage tactics, so try to make sure you work with someone who does.

Once you have this part down, get down to understanding what off page SEO really is and what types of links there are. There are a lot of different types of links out there and they have power that helps build rankings on google. Really understand the difference between white and blackhat. Do not look at SEO services just yet, rather do some research and learn. You will be confused a lot, but this is the only way to learn. SEO is not easy today but its rewarding.

Once you know how links work, look into some softwares such as GSA for tiered link building. (This part comes last.. by the time you have mastered all mentioned above, you will know what GSA is and be on your way to learning it)

I consider myself very new in this industry so take what I am saying as an opinion.

It may take you a solid 6 months just to understand what the hell it takes to rank a site. Be prepared to invest time and money to experiment what you learn. Its a beautiful feeling to make money without stepping outside your house or office.

Understand you product niche well, go to Google Adwords for keyword resaerch and search volume accordingly. After you have done with your keyword research, make a good seo strategy and start to build a natural and quality backlinks.

Choose a journey here and start following it .

Start with the basics learn ON-Page seo so you create a website which can be ranked, once you have that part covered move on link building start with basic old school off page seo (directory submission, social bookmarks, article submission, press release submission) but dont over do them. Then move on to web 2.0 tier link building to learn how to do this just use the search box on the left side. Learn social media and use them as much as can and after that you have created a site which has anchor text diversity, some social presence and quality on page seo. Now you will just need some high quality links (PBN niche related) you can either setup your own network or can also buy post on other peoples PBN (use the MarketPlace) if you still dont reach the 1st page then buy some SAPE.ru footer links (i dont really recommend them) but sometime a site needs some extra push to hit the 1st page.

Search the keyword list from the keywordtoolio then copy all the suggest keywords and search in google adwords and then choose the best high search volume and low competitors.

Look for and learn to create web2.0 backlinks.
