So i'm buying domains with good metrics for the first time.. and found some pretty amazing ones that are going to expire soon. thought i'd just wait until the deadline and snatch them up for cheap but i keep reading that this is not possible anymore. apparently if the metrics are good they get snatched up straight away and us poor mortals need the help of backordering services to pick them up? is this true? and if this is the case then which is the best one to use? Shame that i gotta pay 60+ dollars each for these domains but it looks like i've no choice anymore

Cheers.. any tips for backordering? checking out namejet and snapnames.. both charge about 79$ for a domain so i'm hoping it's worth it. Any tips for backordering.. should i bid slightly above the asking price ie 84 instead of 79? should i wait till the last minute to place the bid.. Any service more proven ie a higher rate of catching domains etc?

Yes. There are high quality expiring domains being made available every day. If you don't have experience, though, you'll get beat by pros who have the mining tools to catch 'em before you do. But it's still possible to register great expired domains by hand, since the amount of expiring domains is too great for any individual or small company to keep track and buy them all.

You'll get more bang for your buck if you let them go all the way through the auction process then pick them up for only the cost of registration. Plenty of juicy domains, without the extra $60 you mentioned.

Yes there is a way. But you're gonna need to learn and act fast to get them. Especially domains with authority links amd good metric

Silly me, buying domains on auction when I can just wait for them to expire and register them for $10 or $12 (premium domains for $12?)

Tried Godaddy for backordering couple of times and they are not so bad. Even if the domain expires, the register may hold them for additional period. There are too many bots grabing high da domains automatically, its hard to wait for expire then get it for regular fee.

Better buy before they expire so they keep domain age.
