Best Autoresponder? (Hosted or Script)?

Looking for opinions on autoresponders. Is it better to host your own, or to go with a service like Aweber?

If you suggest to host your own, which one do you suggest?

Standardly I would say Aweber is one of the best for email marketing and autoresponder kinda stuff. I would say they definately have the best deliverability when it comes to sending mails. I have also heard good things about salesautomator.com which I believe is owned by Frank Kern, though I have never used it myself.

Aweber is one of the best autoresponder, it is use by the big companies because your email will reach the inbox most of the times.

Aweber is the first choice.

Although I run my own autoresponder and mailing scripts ... I would say go with hosted.

Infact I'm going to go that way, even though it costs more.

The reason? Aweber and the like get their emails through as the likes of AOL, Yahoo etc trust them to a certain extent. I have so many bounces from my lists, loosing potential sales, due to the freemail services not accepting emails that are sent by a mailing script.

Bite the bullet and use a hosted solution
