Best AutoBlogging Plugin For WP

On the WordPress Plugins page it says it was last updated on 07/18/2008, and is only compatiable up to WP 2.6.

Finally, I ran across AutoBlogged. This plugin looks really nice and feature-packed, and I know some of you on the board use it. After reading over some praises towards AutoBlogged, I went and read their site. It looks very interesting, and very promising. It also seems like it is updated whenever needed.

So if anyone could give me any extended feedback on AutoBlogged, besides "this is the best autoblog plugin ever" (or the opposite), I would greatly appreciate it. Of course feedback on any other plugins are definitely encouraged as well.

SO HERE THE ANSWER!

AUTOBLOGGED IS THE ONLY RSS-FEED GRABER THATS WORK WITH A LOT OF FUNCTIONS.

YOU MUST JUST KNOW HOW AND WHAT YOU ARE DOING! THATS ALL!

I USE WP 2.8.2

I use Autoblogged on 2.8.2 and works perfectly!!!!

Hey man,

Thank you so much for such a detailed post! I figured AutoBlogged would be the best option for most people, since it is updated constantly and seems to have outstanding support. It is also very good to hear that it is compatible with the newest version of WordPress; that's amazing!

I have a question, however. What did you mean by "missing submit button and adding more feeds function?" Is that a common bug or a common mistake people make in their settings with AutoBlogged?

no, i think it is a joke made by the original uploader... changed the code...
 
any of these plugins post content from yahoo answers? used to use CC but i hear its not working anymore so be interested in any help...
 
rawasch posted a free yahoo answers plugin in another post, do a search and you'll find it. It works good, way better than CC currently for yahoo posts. I also notice he was banned, not sure that that is all about. Make sure you check the code with free plugins.

CC has issues these days. Yahoo answers not working at all, articles don't work and Youtube brings in way more videos than you ask for, if it works. In the day it rocked, sad to see its demise. I only use it for video now, but it needs a complete overhaul.

wpomatic is good, better if you edit and make modifications.

Feedwordpress will not download pics but will hotlink pics.

Is this the same for autoblogg and wp-omatic?
 
Autoblogged lets you choose whether you want to cache them or hotlink them. It can also just cache a local thumbnail of the pic rather than the original.
 
Wpomatic is the bomb . She has alot of features .... most pple want other plugins cos they are lazy to sit an think ..... there isnt going to be a plugin that can beat wpomatic....

YAAb might have don so but the dumb doctor didnt program the thing to work with crons on its own.....

Mate, agree Wp-o-matic is the best free tool, but it's too buggy.. I'm getting errors with both wpomatic and Yaab.. Autoblogged, Wprobot etc works fine.. And caffinated content didn't work for me either :(
