Best article directory software/script/plugin

Hey guys

Would like to know if there are any good scripts or plugins for Joomla or wordpress? I know of only Articelsss and thats it.

Ideally i'd like something that has no footprint. i.e not something that has been used by a million other websites and something that i'm able to tweak.

try to search for articlebeach , but look also for its security patch as there was a bug on it
