I think the best new article directory script is the one at network39.com the script has loads of functions and has an adsense revenue share scheme for authors.

I have network39 article script. It should be one of the best, but have lot of bugs that the owner has not been able to fix.

We are now on v3.01, the script was rewritten from ground up on v2 any bugs have long since been fixed.
