Best Approach for This Scenario, multiple domains for same content.

Even that I check BHW constantly, I have never posted anything, and now, I am trying to start with an online bussiness, but i am a newbie so I would really appreciate your help. If this post does not belong here, please move it or just point me where to put it.

So, I have an idea to create an "informational site" which is local to my country (i live in southamerica). My idea is to have a site with information, news, question and answers about an specific subject, bue lets suppose it is for Covid19 Information, news, QA.

Now, I know because i have seen it, that when a site with specific information appears, it is quickly copied, and this new sites are even better than the original, surely because these new guys have more knowledge of seo or tricks.

I thought about reduce the risk of being copied by managing 1 factor which is domain name, so taking the opportunity of a promo, I bought 8 domains, with similar wording, to try to cover all possibilities for someone trying to clone the site with a similar domain name.

So my question is, what would be the best option to implement this? what is the best way to deploy all these sites?

1. create 1 site and point of all the other 7 domains to this site (redirection)?, what would be the effects of these on search results?
2. deploy the eight sites, and put the same content on all of them?
3. Other way?

As I said, i am a newbie, and in summary i just want to create this site, create just 1 content, and that all of these domains get connected/redirected/pointed/work as one with best results on google search and o penalties and so on.

I dont want to make this too long, surely i am missing lots of factors, but, i tried to explain this easily as in my mind there should be an easy implementation..

Deploy your main site, and 301 all the others to it. You don’t want to have to manage 8 applications with the same content on them, not worth the hassle.

First create 1 site and rank it.

Why would you want to redirect other 7 domains.

These are new domains and not going to help in ranking.

Create one site with good content. Redirecting a new site will not be effective.

yes dont waste money on other 7 domains (new domains are worthless and not going to help in ranking ) - However if you are real big brand like FIFA, PEPSI etc... then another story.
