As the title says, please which app or platform is the best to use in doing appealing YouTube thumbnails? I have seen some very good attractive thumbnails from people's videos, so I am curious to know too.

I need recommendation please

Photoshop / Canva + generative AI + AI assistant for Photoshop / Canva.
Then just make them out of a template.

It's not about a program these days, but which features you have available.
 
I have used GPT to make thumbnails, they work great if you don't need very complex thumbs
 
nano banana + photoshop is all i would ever require for that job. you can also use photopea it is basically free ps and very similar
 
I used to use Adobe Express since I was already using Premier, but Canva has been the hot new thing and it is intuitive enough for fairly new users. I'd say give that a try.
 
Customizing thumbnails yourself is far superior. Most "thumbnail generator" sites produce generic and unappealing results. You should try personalizing them with Gemini, it's really good and completely free
 
Canva is the easiest and most professional tool for making thumbnails.
 
I use Canva for everything, looks professional and there are also many submittals.
 
I just take a thumbnail from a scene in my video and save it as a png. I'm trying to test 3 thumbnails now, but I didn't generate enough visits within the period last time. I don't know how much more different thumbnails do tbh. Do they increase 100% or 300%+ or is it like 10% ?
