Best answer feature

A feature that enables the asker to mark the reply as "best answer" which solves their query.

I've seen this on some other forums. It's a neat feature, although I can't imagine this feature would be implemented here at this time as we''d either have to build a new thread type, modify an existing thread type, or use a plugin that accomplishes this. All three of these options would require extensive testing to ensure nothing interferes with any of the forum's current functionality.

I know it's a hassle to do in longer threads, but for now, you can always look for the post that has the most likes in a query thread.
