Actually not untrue. Although it affects a vast majority of AI-generated/AI-voiced and faceless content, it's more targeted to lazy and, in their own words, "inauthentic" content. As long as you're sufficiently "original" and entertaining/high-effort, you should do fine.

You can get monetized, however Ai voice overs are seen as low quality, because its easy to create, nothing unique about it and no transformational value, although there is no policy that says your channel will get de-monetized, there are tons of creators complaining about shadow bans, de-monetizations and etc after using Ai voice overs, now especially after that update of youtube just last month where they said "100% Ai content wont be monetizable", it's better to avoid Ai voice overs.
Or else make sure the Ai voice over you use for your channel is overshadowed by the great editing style or video content , then it will be considered as transformational value.
