Hey BHW, I'm hoping someone can give me a heads up. I have so many e-books on Adwords and also video courses but right now the majority of the info is out of date.

Can anyone recommend a good Adwords education course, either video or e-book/s that is up-to-date? I want to make sure I have at least the basics down and am setting up an account that keeps CPC down and makes sure I'm on the road to having a profitable campaign. Rather than learning the hard way.

I truly appreciate any feedback from anyone who has any recommendations.

I was just wondering the same. Went through payperclick formula but the dude doesnt seem to know what he's sayin bout adwords. Heard ppc classroom was good but that course was like 2 years ago, so most likely outdated. Perry marshall stuff seems alright too, but lets hear it from more experienced BHWers

The number one program they push for adwords is: By Market Motive

another is by the DMA

of course they have there own in-house stuff as well.

if your not a Google Partner - go sign up and take advantage of the program.
they just started a new adword specific one called Engage

What does a certified google partner do? And, how do you become one?

Just means you passed certification tests with an 80% average.

Also they don't push DMA and Market Motive, those are their Google Engage partners which leads me to believe he isn't actually a partner.

Using something like the DMA or Market Motive may help you understand search marketing but not Google Adwords in the detail you need.

The videos in the Google learning center are more than detailed enough to provide a solid education. There is no point wasting the vouchers when a detailed understanding of Adwords function could allow you to optimize and profit from them.

Personal experience.
Dont go on reading stuff most of the time
Just go practice it.
Spend a little. learn it . test it.
Its all about finding successful campaign and u can be the next internet Millionaire.
 
The 2 most important things needed to have success in Google Ads (Adwords), is common sense and creativity and no course in the world can impart that in a person, it is inborn, in the genes. If you lack these 2 aspects, then your Adwords attempts will be fruitless.
