Hi BHW!

I know the title is weird, but here's the full picture: I'm working a normal job, and I have some money, but I also have 1-2 hours a day available.

I want to invest this time and effort each day to make some money without touching it. I aim to accumulate enough funds to upgrade my DSLR.

My current skills include: photo editing, AI photo generation, GPT descriptions, video editing, landing page design (with systeme.io), and social media strategy implementation.

Yes, I'm on Fiverr. Yes, I'm on Upwork. Yes, I've messaged 371 Twitch streamers to collaborate with.

I've had moments of making money, but it hasn't been consistent, and often I find myself working for free.

What would you recommend to generate this amount per day? I'm willing to dedicate one week to learning something new to pursue this.
Also being a passive income it's not a requirement i love to work and learn new things.

It seems like you, you have some decent skills already. If you just want to upgrade your camera, just push yourself some time to get the needed amount of money through freelance. But if you want to make a passive income, you need to have a leverage that will work for you. Start spending time on creating something like a blog or website or soft. If you know how to generate clients for the services you're providing, try to cooperate with other freelancers so they do work for you so you can scale up.

I know what are you saying, this takes time and a lot of effort and i tried to do it and i'm still trying but i'm not good enough, for now. I'm looking for opportunities every day but a lot of creators are lazy and working with freelancers is hard because i barely get something myself and i get scammed many many times because people are not serious enough and I'm not trying to make others freelancer's life even harder than it is.

Find a job in any country that pays $.5 an hour. I think it's illegal to hire people for such a low amount of money in most civilized countries.

You can write and do this what you described, so maybe you should think of yourself as a civilized person.

It's pointless to go so low and pretend like you're on the verge of financial catastrophe.

It's not a contest where you prove you can do $5 a day. No, not at all.

You aim high or go home.

For now, go home and self reflect.

Then think about automation and affiliate marketing. Once you have a job.

Think of it like this.

If you can make $100 a day inconsistenly, then how much can you make consistently and make in total by the end of the month.

In my experience if on a good day you make $100 a day, on a bad day you make $25.

So with your current aim which is $5 a day, you'll make $5 on a good day and $1.25 or $0 on a bad day.

Mr.Civilised I already said I'm working a normal job and i have 1-2 hours to put into this, i do make over 40$ a day but my objectiv is to learn new skills and improve myself. That 5$ a day it's something extra because making some money it's a good motivation to learn that thing better. I guess you are too "Civilized" for us peasants.

Too late. Find another job then, part time. You can make $40 + $20. Or find a better paying job.

You won't make it here with this mindset anyways.

Waste of your time for now.

You try to diversify a lot. Focus on something like automation + affiliate marketing or social media growing accounts. One thing only.

Don't focus on skills. Focus on deliberate practice. Skills are built over long term and constant learning by experience.

Here's an idea:

Learn Microsoft Excel - I mean really learn it.

Udemy has a nice 21-hour long course (Signup with them and you might get the first course for free or for $10 something)

https://www.udemy.com/course/microsoft-excel-2013-from-beginner-to-advanced-and-beyond/
You can be hired by multiple companies at the same time if you possess Excel skills and earn much much more than what you asked for in your opening post. There's a lot of demand for this even on Fiverr and Upwork and from all the other skills you could learn (coding etc) Excel is probably the easiest one with a minimal learning curve.

Upgrade from there, check Instagram for different Microsoft Excel fan pages - some of them have hundreds of thousands of followers so copy what they do and maybe even snatch their videos. You'll be soon flooded with clients probably more than you could serve. And what would all that take.. months only maybe?

Just my 2 cents but worth considering, this skill will stay with you for life.

Thank you but I'm not trying to get another job, also going for Freelancing on excel it's suicide, there are like 1 billion indians ready to work 12 hours a day for 0.5$ per hour. I have Excel and PowerPoint certification but nobody ever in my life asked me for that, and i searched for jobs in this domain but they want experience in another 20 apps for the job.

This isn't scalable and it's soul destroying but if you just need $5 a day, surveys can get you that. I use prolific on my smoke breaks and make a couple extra dollars a day.

You probably don't put yourself out there or you lack creativity.

$150 per month is less than any random virtual assistant makes with almost no skills whatsoever.

Your options are slim to make anything if you don't put much effort in. Africa and the Middle East are full of people willing to work for $150 per month online if there was an easy way to do it.

The next best bet would be growing social media accounts by hand (F/UF) because you probably lack the skills to use bots, proxies, and everything included, which also is not cheap, especially for someone who earns $40 per day and has a massive ban rate.

Again, I think you just lack creativity in selling yourself.

Since you are ready to invest time and effort each day to make it work, go for book publishing on Amazon KDP.

1 book will make your more than $5/day!

It is a passive income model that you can quickly learn with prior experience.

You can actually succeed in growing accounts if you invest $800 (all cash you make) into that.

But that's only doable if you live with parents or hack the system in some way.

So find a loophole to get (almost) free rent, cheap food and invest in that type of business.

Your skill here is engineering / programming and problem solving. Probably highest value you can produce as a person in this world (building things for other people over time).

You could actually do it for much cheaper.

Get 3-4 cheap refurbished Androids for less than $100

Clone apps for each device: 10 x Instagram accounts per device. (back in the day I did more than 50 accounts per device but you'll get banned like this now)

4G connections and just follow-unfollow by hand and constantly post & engage. Sure it will take you months and months to grow them but once your accounts hit 10-20k followers you can start selling them.

40 accounts x $400-500 = a nice $10 K or maybe even more if the majority of the audience is from Tier 1 countries.

Instead of just Fiverr and Upwork, try quirky job boards or even local businesses who might need your specific skills.

Let's turn those 1-2 hours into a little DSLR upgrade fund with these off-the-beaten-path money-making ideas:

Quirky and Creative Ideas

AI-Generated Pet Portraits -People are CRAZY about their pets. Tap into that with custom, AI-generated portraits. A fluffy cat in Renaissance garb? A pug dressed as a little astronaut? Pure gold. (And potentially viral)

Humorous Stock Photos - We've all seen those slightly ridiculous stock photos. Take it up a notch with your editing skills, create intentionally funny ones, and sell those bad boys. Your inside jokes could be someone else's internet treasure.

"Fix My Grandma's Tech" Hotline - Okay, not everyone's grandma...but you get the idea. Offer a short paid video call service where you patiently solve simple tech problems for the less tech-savvy. Heartwarming and profitable.

Personalized Meme Generator - Take your meme-making talents private. Offer customized memes for businesses or individuals looking to up their social media game with a dash of humor.

Niche Landing Page Superhero- Become THE expert in designing landing pages for a very specific niche (think beekeepers, miniature-schnauzer groomers, whatever gets your juices flowing). Your focus equals premium prices.

Don't be afraid to get a little weird and experiment.

All that boils down to getting clients and selling products. Decide you work business to business or business to client. High ticket or low ticket.

With low ticket there's more opportunities. You can sell anything to anyone wlth not even much targeting - just be relevant.

For example, adult offers to horny males on Instagram.

With high ticket higher entry barrier and requires trust, brand and persuasion.

On low ticket I'd do content locking on social media using automation.
